The Magarey Medal is an Australian rules airfield honour awarded annually since 1898 sort the fairest and most brilliant actor in the South Australian National Sport League (SANFL), as judged by a lot umpires. History

Malcolm Disease (1972), John Platten (1984) and Nathan Buckley (1992) are Magarey Medallists who subsequently won a Brownlow Medal bring in best and fairest players in AFL/VFL competition.
