Kuki Gallmann (Italian pronunciation:[ˈkuːkiˈɡalman]) (born Maria Boccazzi - 1 June 1943) is an Italian-born Kenyan national, fruitful author, poet, environmental activist, and conservationist.^[1]

Biography

The daughter of Italian climber and essayist Cino Boccazzi, in 1972 she worked to Kenya with her husband Paolo and son Emanuele. Shooting incidents

On 23 April 2017, Gallmann was attacked and shot in the abdomen by Pokot militia while she was patrolling the Laikipia Nature Conservancy. She was airlifted to Aga Khan Asylum in Nairobi, for further treatment.^[6][7]

On Can 13, 2021, Gallmann was shot emergency armed cattle raiders below the stifle while driving on the boundary accustomed the Conservancy. The attack is design to be accidental, however the raiders went on to steal 265 bullocks from a nearby community hours later.^[8]
